Full Name: Edward Anthony Masen Cullen
I was named after my father, Edward Masen Sr. But I don't use that last name anymore because Carlisle is, after all, my father now, so I'm known as Edward Cullen. Few people know my middle name, Anthony, and it's better off that way.
Nicknames: Edward
Simple as that. Alice sometimes calls me Ed or Eddie, but almost everyone else call me by the name Edward. It's old fashioned and maybe even boring, but I like it.

Yes, I was born almost a hundred years ago. But I was changed into a vampire so I still look like I'm seventeen, though Bella says I don't seem seventeen.

It was a very painful transformation and I hate to think that Bella experienced the same thing. I can never imagine how someone would want to do that to her. If I ever get the chance to know who the culprit is, I might not be able to control myself and end up killing him.
Species: Vampire
Vegetarian vampire, to be specific. I do not wish to be classified with those drinkers of human blood. I am a vampire, but I don't think I have to follow their ways. We don't have to be monsters, so I choose to have a different life.
Abilities: Mind reader
It's very useful for a lot of things and I even get to know if a person is being true or not, but I hate not having silence when I need it. And I'm certain that others wouldn't find it pleasant if they knew that I was invading their privacy. Bella loves the fact that I do not have access to her thoughts.
Diet: Vegetarian
I thank Carlisle for introducing this diet to me. It's nice to know that there are alternatives to the normal human blood. But I remember leaving Carlisle for that reason. I think that was in 1927, when I went on a human diet. I killed bad people and used my mind reading ability to spare the innocent. But then I couldn't escape that fact that too many human lives were being taken so I returned to Carlisle who welcomed me back with open arms.

Around 1936, we moved to Forks and we encountered the Quileute tribe who had the ability to transform into werewolves. we arranged a treaty stating that they would leave the us alone so long if we didn’t bite any humans and stay off of their land. We stayed for a few years before moving on to other places. And then we returned and have been living in Forks for about three years now.

General Appearance: Edward is six foot and two inches. He has a slender but muscular body, although he looks a lot less bulky than his brother, Emmett. He was changed when he was seventeen, but he looks a bit older than that. You’ll notice his muscles up close because he wears shirts that fit him snugly and emphasize them. He likes the color blue so he’s mostly dressed in clothes of that shade. His outfits are always simple and comfortable, but of course, they’re still expensive. Sometimes, you might see him wearing something a little less plain, because he has this sister who loves dressing him and his whole family up.
Like other vampires, Edward has very pale skin that’s almost as cold as ice and sparkles in the sunlight. For that reason, they can’t let themselves be seen outside during sunny days so the skip school and pretend to go on a camping trip. They take that time to go hunting and satiate their thirst. When he is thirsty, purple bruises appear just beneath his black eyes, which are normally topaz. The gold shade is a result from drinking only animal blood. If it were human blood, his eyes would be red. He has high cheekbones, a strong jaw line, a straight nose, and full lips. His hair is bronze, like her biological mother’s, and is always messy. It was one of the things that didn’t change during his transformation. And it always looks untidy, he doesn’t take too much time in fixing it. He has a crooked smile that most humans would find dazzling. He has no fangs, just perfect teeth, and they’re very, very sharp.

Likes:

- honesty - I know what people are thinking so they shouldn't think that they could lie to me
- good music - Music in the fifties was good. Much better than the sixties, or the
seventies, ugh!- cars - I like collecting cars. I currently have a Volvo S60R and an Aston Martin V12, and a few for Bella, shh.
- playing the piano - I've made a few compositions, the latest was a lullaby for Bella.
- hunting - Animals, not humans. I like mountain lions, but most of the time we have to stick with deers.
- friendly competitions with Alice - My favorite game with Alice is chess. We would sit there for a few minutes not even touching the board and we'd eventually figure out who would win.
- being a vegetarian - like I said, I don't like taking human lives (except maybe when I really have to).
Dislikes:
- filthy minds - It's rare to find people who have good intentions nowadays. Trust me, I know.
- stubbornness - Rosalie comes to mind. Why does she have to be so darn stubborn? I usually ignore her, but I don't like that she can't accept Bella.
- driving slow - Why would I need to buy a car if I won't even get to go past my running speed? What's the use, right?
- Volturi - I do not wish to join them, no matter what promise they would make. But I hope they don't do anything to me to make me want to join them.
- Jane - If it weren't for her power, I could take her down easily. I bet she has no experience when it comes to a physical fight.
- noise (voices in his head included) - It gets tiring and sometimes I don't know if I can take it anymore.
Strengths:
- reading minds - with the exception of Bella.
- advanced senses - all vampires develop it.
- running - I happen to be the fastest within the whole family.
- being a veggie - it has it's ceratin advantages.
- charm - vampires always look attractive to humans.
- super strength - but Emmett is still stronger than me, and now, Bella too.

- temper - I have problems with controling my temper.
- can also be too stubborn - I also stick to my beliefs.
- overreacts - That's what they tell me.
- being overly protective - What can I do? I want to keep my loved ones safe.
- thinks too much about a certain situation - I need to think things thoroughly before I make a decision and sometimes I go in too deep
Overall Personality:
He does everything he can for the people he loves. When he gets paranoid, he becomes annoyingly overprotective of them. He’ll do anything to keep them away from harm and though he doesn’t always like it, he will sometimes trick people just so they can be safe. Bella is very stubborn and doesn't always listen to him that's why he does that.When he has too, he doesn't tell her the truth, though not exactly lying because he doesn't like that. He always wants his family to be safe and he would even die for them when necessary.
He is polite to almost everyone and he uses his charm to get some of the little things that he wants. And being able to read minds, he knows that a lot of girls (even older women) are attracted to him and that works to his advantage. A lot of them are dazzled by his beauty and charm that’s why he can most of the time get them to do what he likes. He doesn’t like misleading them, though, and he often ignores not only the ladies, but almost every human as well. Most humans do not know anything about him – and his family – except that he doesn’t date. And being born in an earlier century, it's in his nature to be a romantic and to have that certain charm that people, especially teens, do not have nowadays.
He over thinks almost every and any decision that he will make. He analyzes everything – right or wrong, good or bad, his want or not – and that usually makes him overreact. And when he makes a decision, he sticks to it. He will even argue with his family just to prove that he's right.

They're another family of vegetarian vampires and we have known them for decades and consider them as an extended family.
History:
Edward was born in 1901 to Elizabeth Masen and Edward Masen Sr in Chicago, Illinois. In 1918, an epidemic spread, and Edward became sick with Spanish influenza. His father already died from it but his mother's health was not that bad. She brought Edward to a hospital and he was cared by a doctor named Carlisle. His mother sacrificed for him and was always by his side until she herself eventually became weak.
The doctor, Carlisle, was actually a good vampire who became a doctor so that he can make use of his advanced senses in helping the sick. He was doing his best to heal the people at the time, spending hours and hours in the hospital to be of more use. He admired Edward's mother for her love and passion. He was surprised to see her one day on Edward's bedside, looking very weak. She seemed to know something about Carlisle when she told him to do everything he can to save her son and try to do what others cannot. She died after that and so Carlisle, who was also thinking of changing a human to someone like him for a companion, took Edward away from the hospital and changed him.
Edward suffered a burning feeling from the three-day transformation. It was such a torture that he even wished to die but he survived it and even acquired special abilities. Not only did he develop advanced senses and super strength that all vampires have, he also began to read minds. It was hard for him to hide it and had always been trying to tune out the voices in his head. He learned from Carlisle what he had become and was taught not to drink human blood but hunt animals instead. He didn't like it, but because he understood Carlisle's intentions from his thoughts, he lasted for a few years. Then he got fed up so he ran away. He drank human blood but only from those who were bad because he figured that if he ended their life, he was doing a good thing for the society by decreasing the number of criminals. But still he felt bad about it and after some time, he went back to his father figure, Carlisle.
Additions to Edward’s little family were Esme and Rosalie. Esme's child died ad because of grief, she jumped off a cliff. Carlisle found her in the hospital, her heart still beating for some reason, and changed her. They became husband and wife after. Carlisle also found Rosalie, the very beautiful fiancé of the King's son was found beaten up and dying on the street and he changed her as well, hoping that Edward would also have a companion. Edward didn't like her, but he slowly began to accept her even with her attitude problem but only as a sister.
One day, Rosalie brought home a guy, whom she saved from a bear, to Carlisle and asked to change him. The guy, Emmett, has been her mate and Ed's brother ever since. And a few years more, two vampires - a girl who can see visions of the future, and a boy who can manipulate emotions - came to their house and joined their family. And so Edward's family consisted of Carlisle, Esme, Rose, Emmett, Alice and Jasper.
Being vegetarian vampires, they were able to live in one place for a few years, unlike nonvegetarian vampires who didn’t have a permanent residences. They only left because they knew that humans would notice that they do not age. People would know them as the Cullen family, the father being Carlisle, Esme as the mother and Edward and the others as the couple's adoptive children. In one place, they were able to meet werewolves and they made a treaty wherein they must not hunt humans or step in the werewolves' land. Almost a century after they've left that place, they transferred to a nearby town called Forks and the five so-called-children enrolled in Forks high school.
Two years after, a new girl came to town. She was the daughter of the police officer and Edward didn't see anything interesting about her at first. He noticed that he couldn't read her mind but didn't think too much about it. But when the girl happened to sit next to him in class, he was trying his best not to attack her and drink her blood for she smelled so delicious. After one hour of debating whether or not he will kill her, he left the class and went to Carlisle who was in the hospital. He told him what happened and the next day he was in Alaska, only to return to Forks after a few weeks and behaving himself around Bella Swan.
Before long, he realized he was inlove with Bella. She found out that he was a vampire but told him she didn't care and even loved him back. Everything was going well when he introduced her to his family, until a nomad coven came to visit them. One of them was a tracker named James who decided to hunt Bella. Edward was able to save her by drinking some of her blood to get the venom out of her. He killed James, and his mate Victoria wasn't happy about it.
Edward and his family left Forks when Jasper accidentally attacked Bella who had a paper cut. Edward thought she'd be better off without him so he left her and spent months tracking Victoria, to try to forget about her. When he received news about Bella's death, he went to Italy to commit suicide but she turned out to be alive and saved him. They all went back to Forks and returned to normal.
The Cullens teamed up with the wolves to fight off Victoria and her army of newborns. They won and only one of them was injured - Jacob, Bella's bestfriend who was inlove with her. Bella said goodbye to him and agreed to marry Edward, but went missing just before the wedding. Edward and the rest of the gang went looking for her. She came back after a week as a vampire with no memory of what happened. Edward, who arrived the next day, didn't know what happened to him for the past two days and was confused about the evidence of human blood in his smell and even in his eyes. He was also being blamed for the murders in Seattle. Edward tries to prove that he's innocent, but how could he, when he, himself, is in doubt?

Role play Sample:Edward was getting more and more anxious as the plane he was riding on touched the ground. Finally, they had landed. A plane of course, was the fastest ride to Phoenix, but it wasn’t fast enough for him. He had talked to Alice earlier, before his flight, and Bella and Jasper were supposed to be with her, waiting for him on the airport. He recalled their conversation on the phone. Alice thought that James might be headed for Renee’s house and Edward can’t have him anywhere near Bella that’s why he, Emmett and Carlisle were coming to get Bella and maybe hide her for a while.
They had to wait and remain on their seats before they could just barge off the plane. Edward tried to pass the time by searching through the sea of thoughts for Alice’s mental voice. But the place was packed with so much people, all thinking deeply about something or someone, that it was very hard for him. He couldn’t focus so he just tried to tune out the thoughts. He focused instead on the two people beside him. Their thoughts were both comforting and distressing.
‘I hope we catch that tracker guy. It’s been a while since I had a chance to kick ass!’ he heard from Emmett. ‘I do hope we can settle this in a less violent way. But of course, Bella’s safety comes first. If there’s no alternative, then I have to agree, James must be stopped. We will have to…’ were Carlisle’s thoughts. He was glad that they cared for Bella but he was getting more worried while listening to them. He assured himself that everything will be alright. James is outnumbered. He couldn’t possibly outsmart them, could he? What would Edward do if something happened to Bella? What if it was too late? He can never forgive himself if anything happened. It was all his fault. He could have just left her before it was too late. He could have just watched her from afar, but no, he had to break the rules, so now look at what’s happening. He tried to think of something else and possibly drown out his seatmates’ thoughts from his head.
A few moments later, they were out and looking for Alice, Jasper and Bella. He heard Alice before he was able to spot her. ‘Edward is going to kill me when he finds out about this. Oh wait, he might be able to hear me now. Um.. Clothes, shoes, bags, lots and lots of bags. Louis Vuitton..’ Edward already saw in her mind that Bella was not with her. He knew Alice was hiding something.
“There they are!” Emmett said, running fast, but trying hard to maintain a normal human run. “I don’t see Bella?” he added. By that time, Alice slipped and Edward saw in her mind, a vision. Bella was in a big room surrounded by mirrors. It looked like a dance studio and Edward was wondering what she was doing there, until he saw James. He didn’t even pay attention to the other details. As soon as he saw James, he found himself running as fast as he could, not even caring about the humans who could see him. They were probably too busy to notice him anyway. He caught a faint trail of Bella’s scent and followed it. He stopped for a moment near the line for the taxi because the trail ended there, but he continued on and let his instincts guide him. He didn’t know how or why but he somehow knew that he was going the right way. Something was pulling him forward and closer to Bella. The others were far behind, running as they let Alice explain what was happening.
He arrived outside the dance studio and burst through the door. The smell of Bella’s blood waved through him and his eyes grew bigger as he inhaled the scent. He saw Bella on the floor, bleeding, and right beside her was James, holding some gadget. He didn’t have time to recognize what it was, he was lunging forward, ready to attack
