ABELReidCAID
----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Full Name: Abel Reid Caid
Nicknames: Ab, Reed, etc., are some nicknames; although, he really wouldn't like you if you used them.
Date of Birth: October 29, 1564
Date of Change: Apirl 20, 1586; he was 22 when changed.
Species: Vampire
Abilities: I'm not sure if you'd consider this powers, but he always had the ability to tell when a person was telling the truth or happened to be lying. Another one is that he can easily decipher a person without trying; that might be because he's an old fart and he just perfected it.
Diet: Carnivore.
Resides in: He had lived in Paris, France for most of his life, but now moved to Forks, Washington; the fact that Paris is full of humans and sunlight didn't sit too well with him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Height: 6feet & 4 inches
Weight: 180 lbs/pounds
Hair Color: His hair is a soft, feathery brown; it's usually carelessly sprawled out across his forehead
Eye Colors: His eyes were originally a deep emerald green with flecks of gold in them; in his left eye, there is a small, golden triangle that some would say indicated good character. Now, since Abel is a bad boy, his eyes are almost always a deep crimson color.
General Appearance:
Abel will often be caught wearing jeans and a white t-shirt with grease stains on it; this is because he is almost always in his Shop. His hair is always feathered and sprawled out across his forehead, tips ending in a barely visible curl. You can see him often running his fingers through his hair when he's bored, mad, or upset about something. Even then, you can also spot him playing with something on his shirt. Abel can get bored quite easily, that's why he tries to find interesting things to occupy his time with.
He doesn't wear expensive clothes for a reason; casual clothes are much more comfortable. If you see him with expensive clothes, that means he's probably trying to attract someone, or just wearing it because he has those days.

Likes:
- Blood: people call it an addiction for a reason. Abel calls it free time and relaxation. So sue him for going out drinking multiple times a week.
- Darkness: since he is pretty much a creature of darkness, it is suitable that he likes it when it’s dark out. All that loom and gloom sort of does it for him.
- Sexual Activities: he's a sinful vampire, for crying out loud. You won't see him praying in any bloody church soon. So, expect him to be doing some sexual activities, even for a vampire.
- Explicit Natures: Abel comes with a warning label. He will say what he wants, when he wants, and he loves it; not to mention he loves people who do it right back to him. What he looks for is a strong person with a strong willed personality; the more explicit, the better.
- Fear: to say that Abel was afraid of something is slightly comical. If he was, you'd never be able to figure out what the hell it was. He loves fear, if you dare to say that. Just the idea, the feeling, and everything about it amuses him to the point where he'd encourage even; after all, he's lived for such a long time, being rational and human just doesn't seem right anymore.
- Humans: are tremendously tempting creatures by nature; he loves it. Even if he is a creature of the night, they still seem to come toward him, even though his entire aura gives off that "back the hell away from me" vibe. They amaze him, but not in that "I'll love you forever" type of way. He's a predator; nothing can ever change that.
- Religion: is a joke to him; this is what he likes the most about living. It's hilarious how things change every so often from good to bad, and then all over again. They said Jesus had died on the cross, but that could soon be changed into something else in the next few centuries. This would also reveal why Abel had picked his name; it is ironic, though, how he picked "Abel" and not "Cain", seeing as he is anything but good.
Dislikes:
- Kindness: is overrated. It is said that one act of kindness can make up for a man's sins. If you said that to Abel now, he'd laugh in your face and wave you off. No one had shown kindness to him, even when he was human.
- Powerless: he is powerful, and that’s the way he likes it. Those who can’t take care of themselves and are powerless disgust him. A person needs to be able to take care of themselves and do whatever it takes to get there.
- Public Display of Affection: So, it’s not that he doesn’t mind making out with his newest hot young thing (human), just not in public. Constant PDA disgusts him to no end and almost makes him vomit, if that were even possible.
- Double Standards: biggest pet peeve for Mister Abel Caid; double standards, double standards, double standards - enough said!
- Utopia: the idea is stupid. No one will ever all get along. If everyone got a long, everyone would eventually die. It seems Abel is the only one that would notice this, but if a baby possibly was born in this time, it would possibly die. So many people would be alive just because there would be no crime, so there'd be no room; plus, Abel loves crime.
- Those fake humans: Dear lord, Abel can't stand those women that wear that disgusting fake smell all over them.
- Hypocrites: are Abel's worst pet peeve; he can't stand them. He may be one, too, but he's old to the point where he analyzes anything and anyone. Don't be afraid, though, if he figures something about you that you've tried to hide from everyone else.
- Volturi: are morons. Abel doesn't find them at all worth being so highly respected amongst the vampires.
Strengths:
- Being messed up in the head is one of his strengths. No, normally people wouldn't count this, but Abel uses it to his advantage.
- Perceptive was always a thing he managed without trying. He'll easily tell if you're lying or telling the truth; after all, he's the master of lying.
- Manipulative: The one thing you can tell about him from far away is that he's manipulative. He uses his highly developed words to persuade anyone to his side.
- He is a very quick leaner; just because he's old, don't expect him to be as slow as hell.
- Patience: is the key to virtue, or whatever that saying was. He likes to watch things enfold, not go in fast forward.
Weaknesses:
- He's incredibly impulsive. Sure, he will think about things before acting, but sometimes he just can't hold back and will just do it. Clarity of thought before rashness of actions;" yeah right.
- He's very arrogant; because of that, he will often over look things, and not quite pay attention to the details.
- Even though he's quite old, he is very childish. One of the things he will always tell a vampire is that you shouldn't look upon your vampire life as if it were a curse. Live your bloody life; it was a gift to learn knowledge, and gain freedom.
- A girl with red hair is his ultimate weakness (over exaggeration); this is due to the fact that most of the significant partners in his life were red, and had always managed to tame some part of him.
- Warning: anger management is easily provoked. He will be easily angered, so don't bother doing anything that might upset him.
Overall Personality:
It's kind of hard to explain Abel's personality. After such a long time, he's gathered up so many personalities that he doesn't even know who is who anymore. You could probably say that he has a new case of bi-polar; it's just something he's created over the time he's been alive. Even though he has such a bad ideal of the world, and happens to be a carnivore, you can often see him talking to humans as if he were one too. He can be very charming toward them; chivalrous toward the women, and entertaining to the kids. He doesn't hurt them, really. He's nice to them, even though he'd probably drink their blood some time in the near future. It's just strange.
Then his mood can change for no reason at all. He'll get cynical and angry, and demand reasons for things unknown. He'll snap and threaten you until you're intimidated. He can just be very cruel when he's like this. Abel will portray that devil-may-care attitude, and is fearlessly cocky when putting himself in a dangerous situation. That's just the way Abel is, though, and it's normal for him. The angry part of his personality becomes his main personality around the time of October, considering that's when he was changed, and he's not very fond of that month.
Then he can just get crazy; not that "oh my god, I'm so happy" crazy, but that real asylum type of crazy. It would be hard to explain how he would, because normal his personality just kind of jitters around the edge of insanity.

Mother: Lilith Blackwood
Father: Thomas Blackwood
Siblings: William Blackwood, and Arabella Blackwood
Significant Other:
- Hannah Johnson: she had once made him sane. She was a human, and one that had taken care of him when he tried to commit suicide in a forest once. He could barely move due to the fact that he hadn't tasted blood a long (enough to be fatal to a vampire) time. Abel had left her a year later; he had gained control of her heart, and utterly broke it. It was amazing that he didn't do anything more than that.
- Iris Mason: She was one hot tempered female. With flaming red hair, Abel grew attracted to this female and demanded that she'd marry him. Back then, you know, it was common for one male to demand things of a girl. She had died from a sickness, though, before any of this was settled.
- Being an old vampire, Abel as a lot more "significant others" that'd probably take too long to explain.
Other family: Abel tends to avoid others now.
History: When Abel was born, he was the kid that hung in the back of every entertaining thing. He didn't find anything that interesting until he finally had the chance to meet William Shakespeare. The man was positively genius, especially in Abel's eyes. They had been born on the same year, but in different places. When Abel got up to move where William lived, he met him when he was young - before he even became famous. Then the man got famous and left Abel in the dust, leaving him somewhat disoriented and upset. Abel was a carriage driver, seeing as he wasn't really reliable for anything else.
It was storming on night in April, making it hard to see on the road. The carriage was knocked over by some type of force he couldn't see, and Abel was flung of the driver's seat. His head hit a rock, so he didn't really see what happened to the people inside the carriage, nor him. The next thing he knew, he woke up in the middle of the forest, pain like fire scorching through his body. He couldn't even remember who he was, due to the fact that he hit his head so hard on the bloody rock. He lost all memory of what had happened to him. When he finally made it through the changing process, there was a man standing before him in battered old clothes, a smirk on his face. His name was Gabriel, and he was his creator. He left him after he explained what happened to him, and Abel never saw him since.
After that, though, you'd often see him terrorizing some town or something. This probably sparked the vampire myth back to life. He had never tasted animal blood, and probably never would until a hundred years later; but even then, it didn't satisfy any thirst Abel had. If he became a Veggie some day, it was probably a sick joke or someone had the power to brainwash. He's just an angry man who is angry at humans, though no one will ever be able to figure out why.
That's how he lived for most of his long, long life. Now he's in Forks and he owns a Shop some where in town. He some where found in his long life-time that he enjoys fixing cars and things. So, that's what he bought; a car repair shop. There are humans that work there in the morning, but he doesn't touch them, seeing as they are his only workers that he trust. When he comes in at night, he takes care of the things that the humans couldn't fix.

Role play Sample:Dorian smirked when he noticed that she wasn't going to look away from him stripping. It's not his fault the bloody plumbing system went haywire, and he so happened to completely despise the sound to the point where he changed downstairs. When she spoke, his eyes instantly jumped to her and narrowed. She had the audacity to speak to him like that? Dorian studied her with a vacant expression on his face; an elegant eyebrow raised. Perhaps this was why he seemed so attracted to her, though. Even if he was the new Dark Lord, she had the courage to piss him off with just the slightest words. Yes, perhaps that was why he was so very attracted. It had nothing to do with how she was as a person; he'd never love her for her. Being Dorian, he literally did drop the towel to the floor, though any body part was "mostly hidden" by a wall. He changed into his clothes, leaving the towel to litter the floor for the house elves to come and get. With a smug smirk, he shifted his gaze to Fawne, knowing she had been watching the entire time. "Maybe you could teach them," suggested Dorian, lips quirked into a devilish grin.
Then she had to ask a question, which questions were something he hated, and he sneered. Females always asked questions; it was practically second nature to them. He didn't need to explain himself to her. She was his, there was no denying it. When he called her, she had to come, even if it was for no reason. Oh, he just loved this game.
"We are getting married soon, will we not?" his voiced challenged her to defy him. "After all, don't normal couples usually get closer?" Dorian's type of "close" was nothing like Fawne's idea of "close". Being a male, you could easily guess what the hell he was thinking. His sauntered on over toward her, head bowed lightly and staring at her with smoldering eyes. Gently, his fingers curled around her pale wrist and yanked her forward, roughly. Screw being gentle, he was the bloody Dark Lord. Anyway, who ever said being "gentle" was part of the package with Dorian?
While his gaze was still on her, he brought her wrist to his mouth, nipping at the sensitive area. "I'm sure you can't object to that..." whispered Dorian, dropping her hand to let it fall back to her side. He was challenging her again; the normal thing men did; vying for dominance. Boy, did he love it. Maybe this wasn't another reason for why he was so attracted to her? He shrugged the thought off. His elegant, tan fingers curled around her chin to tilt her head up so he could examine her better. She was indeed a beautiful specimen.
