Cleveland, Ohio. The home of the rather large and very active Hellmouth. Ever since Sunnydale was destroyed by Buffy Summers and the rest of the Scooby Team, they have called Cleveland their home. But so has another powerful entity that is recovering from a backlash. The First Evil has risen again but this time It is being a bit more secretive about It's operations. The First has begun to assemble a team that will carry out It's every want and wish. Calling upon the ancient essence of The Seven Deadly Sins, seven Slayers have been infected with a power that is silently inside and gaining more power.
However The Powers That Be have begun creating a new line of warriors that started many, many years ago. They are calling the warriors 'Shifters' that take on an animal form at their wish to help further fight against what The First is aiming to create and destroy. But the creatures though made for good, some have been corrupted. They believe they are the better line of species and thus would like to rid the world of humans as a whole. Some have aligned themselves with the ancient Evil while others are working silently against the ruthless plans it sets forth.
Los Angeles has been lost to the Senior Partners as they declared it a war zone. Team Angel fought and suffered great casualties declaring the team dead. All those that survived were Angel, Spike, and Illyria. After escaping with barely their lives the group caught wind that the Scoobies moved on to Cleveland and have since set off to help take down the Hellmouth. However an old friend of Los Angeles has followed. Lindsey McDonald has been brought back from the dead by The First and given a new title as a demon as well as the CEO of Wolfram and Hart, Cleveland branch. The former Cowboy has set out in his fight against all things Angel holds dear which includes Buffy and all those associated with her.
