Long story short, Isabella Swan has moved to Forks to get away from her happily-in-love mother and new stepfather. Moving in with her dad isn’t the most pleasant of ideas she has ever had, but she’s willing to try it out. Besides, what’s the worst that could happen? Edward Cullen, as we all know, is a “vegetarian” vampire and part of the Cullen family or clan. His family is back in Forks, re-circulating in a sense, and he’s figuring it will be like any other place he and his family have lived. No big deal. Jacob Black heard from his father that Isabella Swan would be moving to Forks, but he didn’t really fuss about it because, well, she was just another out-of-town girl from somewhere with better weather. He was content to live on the res, go to school there, and eventually open up his own auto-mechanics shop. But, no. A little mishap in one of his high school’s chem classes caused a good chunk of the school to burn down, so a bunch of res kids are moving to Forks High—Jacob included. The Denali Coven has decided to join the Cullens in Forks. Wait, what...? Yes, yes, I know. More vampires in Forks. See, they're all vegetarians too, so it's okay. There's just going to be a little bit more drama than originally expected. But, why? Because Alaska's getting too damn boring and the Denali girls want to see what all of the fuss is about in Washington.
So, now, we have ourselves the making of an interesting plot. Starting from the beginning, giving the story a teeny twist, and voila! We’re moving counterclockwise, calling in a do-over.
